Mars Hill Church Website

Gathering weekly for fellowship and accountability, study and prayer, good times and tears, Mars Hill Community Groups are an essential expression of our church’s mission as we live life together from single students to seasoned seniors. Community Groups live intertwined lives together as family, worshiping God — and serving our local congregation and greater community.

Community Groups are not a religious check-box, clocking in a few hours a week on top of 90 minutes on Sunday.  You don’t “go” to your community group, you “are” community together. They are not midweek gatherings disconnected from Sunday and the life of the greater congregation. Community is not meant to have a solely insular focus, holy huddles where its all about us, but rather, groups working together to be a blessing to others.

Community groups exist so people can invest in each other, build each other up in faith and life, invest in their congregation, contributing to the needs of the local church; and invest in their culture, engaging the greater community and neighborhood.

The latest information about Mars Hill Church Community Groups, including a complete list of groups organized by location, campus, and day of the week, is available online at The City, Mars Hill’s online networking website. If you need help getting started on The City, please visit the connect desk before or after a Sunday service to get signed up.

If you need additional help in finding a group, please email olycommunity@marshill.com so we can connect you to one of the groups listed below.

We are always praying that God provides us more community group leaders to meet the needs of the body. Please join us in this prayer. It’s going to be exciting to see what God does as we move forward and we hope you want to be a part of it all! We sincerely hope and pray that you will find a way to plug into one of these groups and enjoy living in community with others who love Jesus.
